It may be true that as our family goes through planting and harvest seasons, I get a little sentimental. These days require long hours that mean supper away from home for Joel, and bedtime without Daddy for the boys. Gosh - I miss that man during these long days.

Pasture Raised, Grain Finished

If you watched our stories on Facebook and Instagram this week, you saw us make a family trip with our boys to pick up minerals and grain for our calves and steers.

We make the most of these trips as a way to spend time as a family; our boys LOVE riding in Daddy’s big farm truck. There’s just something really cool about getting in that big diesel and going on a mission. It might also be a thing that Daddy found a Mike n’ Ike dispenser at the feed mill. Anyway - one never knows!

We make a trip to the Ag Partners feed mill a couple times a month to pick up the grain and mineral part of our herd’s diet.
