SLF Beef Alfredo Recipe

I recently made this for my family and they loved it! The creamy pasta paired with a savory steak and fresh veggies made for an ideal comfort food.

Ingredients:

1lb Steak (I used Sirloin. Could also use Round Steak or 1lb Stew Beef)

1/4 Red Onion, chopped

2 Cups Broccoli florets

1 Red Pepper sliced and chopped

1 Clove Garlic, minced

6oz of Egg Noodles

15oz jar of Alfredo Sauce

Cook Steak or Stew Beef in a skillet with butter to desired finish. I like mine medium well-done. Set aside. Boil noodles until soft (you don’t want them mushy and falling apart). Drain water reserving 3/4 cup for later. In the steak skillet, add more butter and cook onion, pepper and garlic until peppers are soft and onions are translucent. While the veggies are cooking, steam broccoli. Add the noodles and Alfredo sauce to the cooked veggie skillet with the 3/4 cup of water. Bring to a slight boil then reduce heat. Add the broccoli and meat. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir and heat as needed.

After dishing you can grate fresh Parmesan over the top for an extra dash of flavor. Enjoy!
